SV Darmstadt 98 Receives Sales Support From SPORTFIVE

SV Darmstadt 98 has been receiving support in its marketing activities from the sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE. The aim of the cooperation is to complement the existing sales approach, provide additional resources for acquiring sponsors, and jointly elevate sponsorship revenues to a new level.

As part of the future collaboration, a marketing team from SPORTFIVE will strengthen the existing team led by Jonas Duttine, Head of Sponsoring & Partner Management at the Lilies, and will be active on-site in Darmstadt. All marketing rights as well as strategic and content-related responsibilities will remain entirely with the club.

Volker Harr, Vice President of SV 98: “Sponsorship is the second most important source of income for SV 98 after media revenues. Therefore, it is of great importance for the club to continue developing positively in this area. Through the cooperation with SPORTFIVE, our sales team will be specifically reinforced by external expertise. We see great potential in this model to leverage existing structures while introducing new momentum.”

The two sides have already worked together successfully in the past: In 2023, SV 98 was able to secure a prominent jersey and main sponsor thanks to SPORTFIVE. This trusted and successful partnership is now being intensified.
