Airwallex Named Official Jersey Patch Partner of the San Francisco Giants in SPORTFIVE-Brokered Deal
As part of this agreement, Airwallex becomes the official jersey patch partner for the Giants, as their branding will debut on the sleeves of Giants uniforms this season. The Giants begin their 2026 campaign on March 25, when they host the New York Yankees in a game that will air exclusively on Netflix.
Founded in Australia in 2015, Airwallex has expanded rapidly in the U.S. to meet the soaring global demand for borderless financial tools. To anchor this growth, Airwallex recently established its global headquarters in San Francisco, operating a dual-HQ model alongside Singapore.
With a strong foothold in Singapore and the broader APAC region, SPORTFIVE capitalized on its established relationship with Airwallex to introduce the brand to a strategically aligned U.S. rightsholder. Collaboration between SPORTFIVE’s Singapore and U.S. teams led to productive discussions with the San Francisco Giants, resulting in a multi‑year agreement with the eight‑time World Series champions.
“We’re thrilled to have supported Airwallex and the San Francisco Giants in coming together on this agreement. This partnership highlights SPORTFIVE’s strength in cross border collaboration and our ability to execute seamlessly across multiple regions.”
Carl Woodman, President of Global Sales at SPORTFIVE
Furthermore, through this agreement, Airwallex has been named the Giants’ Official Financial Software Partner. The Giants are relying on Airwallex to help bridge the gap between their local roots and international reach. Through the integration of Airwallex, including VISA corporate cards, related expense capabilities, and future payment processing solutions, the Giants are enhancing how they manage executive travel and expense spend, as well as select high-value transactions such as season suite sales and private events at Oracle Park. This partnership supports the Giants’ continued investment in modern, global-ready financial infrastructure, ensuring that their operations are built for speed, flexibility, and scale.
Additional partnership details regarding product integrations, activations, programming, and community initiatives will be announced over time.

About San Francisco Giants
One of the oldest teams in Major League Baseball, the 142-year-old franchise moved to San Francisco from New York in 1958. After playing a total of 42 years in Seals Stadium and Candlestick Park, the team moved to the privately constructed, downtown ballpark on the corner of 3rd and King in 2000. The organization is widely recognized for its innovative business practices and baseball excellence having been named in the past decade the Sports Organization of the Year by Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal, Organization of the Year by Baseball America and ESPN’s Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year. Oracle Park is also the only ballpark in the country to have earned Silver, Gold and Platinum LEED certification for an existing building.
Since opening its gates, Oracle Park has become internationally renowned as a premier venue in the world of both sports and entertainment. On the diamond, more than 66 million spectators have witnessed countless magical moments, including three World Series Championships (2010, 2012 & 2014), the raising of four National League Pennants and eight playoff appearances. The ballpark has also hosted some of music’s biggest acts, including Dead & Company, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé & Jay-Z, Ed Sheeran, the Rolling Stones, the Eagles, Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band, Green Day and Billy Joel.
